《木工圣经：木工完全指南》· The Woodworker’s Bible · Percy W. Blandford · Popular Woodworking Books 2007

本书是英国多产的技术作家 Percy W. Blandford（1912 年生于布里斯托）为木工爱好者写的”一部通读型”全书。作者一生著述 112 部、文章四千余篇，年轻时受工程师训练，二战期间在英国皇家空军从事飞机维护并编写英美飞机的维修手册，战后开始为英美木工与帆船杂志撰稿。按他的自述，这本书要回答的是一个新手从”没有技术、工具最少”起步，如何一步步走进木工这行的全部问题。

作者在前言中给全书定了调子：电动工具确实能免去木工中最枯燥的体力活，但想真正熟练，必须先把手工方法练会，再去大量使用电动工具——只有这样才能理解木材的脾气，学会因材施艺。”木工手艺中很重要的一部分是对木材的感觉，而这种感觉在用电动机代替肌肉力量时是不容易获得的。”全书因此先讲材料与手工工具，再讲机械，最后才进入各种进阶工艺。

内容按十四个板块层层展开：木材的构造与缺陷；手工工具；电动工具；工具的刃磨与保养；工具的正确使用；紧固件；木工接合（榫卯）；车旋；雕刻；木皮与镶嵌；画框制作；木材涂装；户外木作；家居木作。书中大量插图为作者亲手绘制，图注与正文一一对应，从原木剖面到燕尾榫的每一步都画出剖面示意。

这本书 1976 年由 Tab Books 初版，1985 年经 Greenwich House 重印，本册为 Popular Woodworking Books（F+W Publications）2007 年的精装重印本，保留原版全部插图与章节结构，共 419 页。
