《木工与建筑实用手册》是纽约大学工业教育系教授 Ray E. Haines 与 John V. Adams、Raymond Van Tassel、Robert L. Thompson 合著的家用木工手册，由 D. Van Nostrand Company 于 1945 年出版，属 “The Home Mechanic’s Library” 系列。全书面向家庭木工爱好者，讲求实用。

第 1 章介绍常用木材及其用途、木材的计量与订购惯例，以及人造板与代用料；第 2 章详述家用木工工具，包括适于家庭工坊的电动工具；第 3 章讲述砂纸、钉与螺钉、五金、油灰、胶、填缝剂、防腐剂等耗材。
