本书是美国《Woodworker’s Journal》编辑部与 Hylas Publishing 合作推出的项目合集，2006 年出版，收录该刊历年来发表的经典家具与工坊用具做法。全书按”工坊项目”与”家具项目”两大部分编排，从帮助工坊少吸粉尘的下吸式工作台，到能提升居室观感的经典厨房中岛与阅读者之床，覆盖家庭木工从整理工坊到做家具的全过程。

每个项目都按同一套规格呈现：从开工到完工的全程彩色照片、可直接放大的图纸、逐件编号的材料清单（含规格与数量）以及施工图。书末与版权页另附安全提示，提醒使用电动与手工工具时必须配备防护装置并遵循厂家说明；书中五金件多由 Rockler Woodworking and Hardware 提供。
